Hello World!

Who knew a YouTube sensation named Jacob Tucker could influence a giant like the NCAA to break the mold?

Tucker, a 5-11 Senior PG/SG from Division-3 Illinois College, took his talents straight to YouTube in the hopes of landing an invitation to the NCAA 3-point shooting and Slam Dunk contest from  the Final Four in Houston, Texas and not only did the young man with a said 50-inch vertical leap get his coveted invite via a Facebook fan vote, but he also unanimously took home the event’s first-place trophy.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing this kid dunk, here’s a little look at the new NCAA Slam Dunk champs’ work in front of NBA players Chuck Hayes, Courtney Lee and Hall-of-Famer Karl Malone who judged the contest followed by Jim Rome‘s take and the video that landed him a spot.
