Analysis
Burks is a scorer first.  He has a tremendous first step with an ability to create his own shot very effectively.  He is much more dangerous in the transition game and likes to start the break on his own by pulling down a defensive rebound, which he does at an extremely efficient rate for a wing player (6.5 reb/g).

Very effective pick and roll player with the ball in his hands.  Wants to attack the rim first and has an uncanny ability to get to the free throw line consistently despite his relatively slender frame.  Needs to work hard on his perimeter shot in catch and shoot situations and has a tendency at times to try and do too much with the ball in his hands.

However, with all that being said Burks athleticism, speed, ball-handling ability and propensity to get to the rim seemingly at will make him a very solid prospect in the 2011 NBA Draft.
